TVETI Summer Training Program Opens Registration for 2018/2026

The Federal Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institute (TVETI) of Ethiopia just opened applications for a summer training program. This is not like a typical summer class. You will get hands-on training in 3D printing and machine design. These skills are very useful in today’s job market. And the best part is that you don’t need to be a college student or tech expert to join.

TVETI is running a short summer training program focused on two fields, Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) and Machine Design (SolidWorks & RHINO 8 Design). Whether you’re a student, a young professional, or just someone curious about tech, this program is built for you.

Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing)

3D printing is changing how people make things. Instead of cutting or molding materials, you build objects layer by layer using a printer. Industries use it for making prototypes and custom parts.

Machine Design (SolidWorks & RHINO 8)

This training area will focus on machine design using two popular software programs, SolidWorks and RHINO 8. Engineers and designers use these tools to create detailed models before they build anything in real life.

There are two ways to register for this TVETI summer training program. One is In-person, you can visit their location and register directly. Second, via email, you can send your application to [email protected]. Make sure you register before the registration ends.

What You’ll Need to Bring?

There is one important requirement that you need to bring your own laptop. It has to be capable of running design software smoothly. Although SolidWorks and RHINO 8 are not lightweight programs. They need decent processing power and memory to run without lagging. So before you apply, it is advised to check your laptop’s specifications.
