12.8% Students Passed Ethiopian National Exam Grade 12 2018/2026
Today, Minister of Education Berhanu Nega announced the Ethiopian National Exam Grade 12 result. He shared that in this academic year, 563,960 students registered for the national Grade 12 exam, and 560,210 students appeared for it.
Moreover, he shared that 12.8% of students passed the 2018 (Ethiopian Calendar) national Grade 12 exam. 88 Ethiopian schools achieved a 100% pass rate, while 585 schools had no students who passed the Grade 12 exam. Addis Ababa City Administration ranked first, with 32.3% of students passing the Grade 12 exam.
Minister of Education Berhanu Nega said that starting Monday or Tuesday, the Ethiopian Ministry of Education will share the results online; after that, students will be able to check their Ethiopian National Exam Grade 12 result. After the results are released, Grade 12 students will have 5 to 6 days to submit a complaint if they have any concerns about their results.
Furthermore, Berhanu Nega confirmed that the remedial program for students will continue for the 2019 academic year (Ethiopian Calendar). But the number of students will be lower than last year’s. However, the exact number of students will be shared after the finalization of the Ethiopian National Exam Grade 12 result.
