Ethiopian Remedial Program Exam Results Delayed

It has been around 2 months since students took the Ethiopian Remedial Program Exam, and their results still haven’t been released. For thousands of young people, that wait has turned into real stress.

The Ethiopian Remedial Program Exam gave students a chance to improve their academic standing. Over 53,000 students appeared in this exam between May 27, 2018, and June 3, 2018 (Ethiopian Calendar).

Students say that “It’s been almost two months since we took the exam. It’s not acceptable for the results to be delayed this long.”

“It’s unacceptable that 57 days have passed without the results being released. We are experiencing anxiety and undue pressure.”

This is not a one-time complaint students made. They have repeatedly taken their concerns to the government, asking for the results to be released as soon as possible.

Attempts to reach government officials about the release date were unsuccessful. When students keep asking and get no response, it’s easy to see why frustration grows. They want to know when their results will be available.

South Ethiopia Education Bureau announced the regional South Ethiopia 6th & 8th Grade exam results for the 2018 academic year (Ethiopian Calendar).
