Addis Ababa University Opens Admission for 2019 Academic Year
If you are planning to join Addis Ababa University for the 2019 academic year, the university is now enrolling new students for both government sponsored and private programs. Whether you’re looking at the regular program, evening classes, or continuing education, here’s everything you need to know before the deadline.
Addis Ababa University is enrolling new students through different paths.

- Continuing education program
Not everyone qualifies right away. You must have taken the 12th-grade national exit exam in one of these years.

- 2017
- 2018
On top of that, you need to have scored a university entrance score. If you didn’t take that exam, you can still qualify by completing level 4 through the COC (Certificate of Competence) process.
Moreover, every applicant must sit for the Addis Ababa University Admission Test, known as the UAT (Undergraduate Admission Test). The UAT will be administered from November 2 to November 4, 2018 (Ethiopian Calendar).

Registration will close on August 29, 2018 (Ethiopian Calendar). It is advised to register early rather than wait until the final day.
